I work mainly in oils. My works are images of scenes, objects or figures recalled from memories or present observations. My style is impressionistic, painterly and sometimes drifting towards the abstract. My working process comprises of contemplative observation or recollection, pencil or charcoal sketches and quick color studies. Works are finished on location or in the studio, relying on sketches and memory.
