The focus in my plein air and studio painting in pastel, oil and gouache is to celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of the world around me. I enjoy interpreting changing seasons, patterns and rhythms in the landscape and observing the effects of light, atmosphere, and subtleties of color in the landscape and in still life paintings.
