In the summer of 1995, I suffered a spinal cord injury at the C5 level which resulted in paralysis from the chest down. After rehab, I returned to school and graduated from Cal Poly, SLO in 2000 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I have always loved to draw & paint, and while in college I also took a number of art classes.
